Default weapons?

which weapons/mods, for an assassin, do you think are the best? i mean this not for a specific build, but for multiple ones. i'm thinking that a zealous 15^50 +30 hp, and a vampric 15^50 +30 hp, so are those good, or are there more?
thanks for answering

Zealous seem to be the bread and butter Sin mod.

Lately I've been using +20% enchants as opposed to +30hp though.

Zelous work well but I usually just use a 20% enchant mod and something else. But I did find a pair of daggers that have +30 health +5 energy and room for 1 more mod. If only they were max dmg V_V.

The Sundering upgrade also seems fairly popular.

sundering is stupid. zealous is the only reasonable choice for a sin, possibly elemental on occasion.

zealous, +5 energy, +20% enchantment.

I think that is the best generic daggerset for PvE.

I run 4 sets of weapons...
Zealous daggers of Enchanting --- 1/-1, 20%, 15^50
Icy daggers of Fortitude --- Ice damage, +30, 15^50
Fiery daggers of Fortitude --- Fire damage, +30, 15^50
Sundering daggers of Enchanting --- 20/20, 20%, 15/Enchanted

Zealous is my normal run but obviously Fire for Ice elementals, Ice for Hell's Precipice/certain dungeons, sundering for bosses...

20% is better for my PvE build to keep criticals up... +30 because i have NO elemental defense...

Zealous
Vampiric
Ebon (elemental)

These are the basic ones you'll want.

Real sins swap, but the best? zealous 15>50 +30

Slashing used to be best, now Piercing is the better choice ( No more shield's up! reduction )

More things in PvE are susceptible to slashing damage than piercing(only undead). In PvP it all depends on what the meta game is. If there is alot of rangers and paragons (meaning that people will bring piercing shields) then you bring slashing damage because that is the opposite. Piercing excells if the meta is axe and sword warriors.

1. Elemental, +5E, 20%Enchant (warriors)
2. Zealous, +5E, 20%Enchant (general usage)
3. Zealous, +5E, +30HP (for DP)

Obviously, there's a specialized dagger set for every build that you run. But if you don't want to have your storage full of daggers, I really think you could do well with just the above three. You can replace the +5E with 15^50 and the 20% Enchant with +30 HP for the first two if you're so inclined (defeats the purpose of the third one to do it that way); I do it that way because I'm generally running an enchantment and, if I'm running it, I probably want it to last longer.

As everyone has said, zealous is by far the best. I also carry a vamp set for when i dont need the extra energy and an elemental one.

Please stay away from sundering though, it only affects the base damage of the weapon, not the skills, so the extra damage from it is pretty pathetic.

i have two 15^50 zealous +30 dags, one slashing, one piercing. i know how much damage i should be doing on certain ALs ect, so if it looks low end, i know someone's insignias are against my type. i have fiery for elemental to trigger rogs in case thats out there due to an ele on my team, and i have vamp dags i haven't used in forever...

generally, i use my zealous Dragon Scythes.. (slashing)
